-        Don’t forget Silverscript has a deductible.

-        Company retiree insurance includes Part D Prescription coverage.  No need to accept any of the offers being sent by other companies unless you wish to cancel the Company coverage and go with someone else.  You can only have one Part D Prescription Plan.  It can be confusing.  Just remember that you have Part D coverage (Silverscript) already so unless you want to change companies, you don’t need to sign up with anyone else.

-        Shingles vaccine – Marti says you pay for it up front then you can get reimbursed by Blue Cross by submitting a claim.  Download claim forms from the Blue Cross website.

-        Life Insurance – The Group Term Life Insurance is owned by Oncor and has no cash value so it can not be sold.  Make sure your beneficiary designations are up to date.  Check through e-people or call the service center at 888-812-5465. 

-        If you are turning 65, be sure to call the e-people service center when you receive your Medicare card.  You will need to provide them with the Medicare Claim Number listed on your card.  The Oncor e-people number is 888-812-5465.

-        Are your beneficiaries up to date?

-        The Oncor On the Go app lists all of the insurance vendors and contact numbers.  It can be downloaded to your phone.  You can also view it on your desktop computer.  I Goggled Oncor On the Go and found it.
